My Maschine Plus can’t find updates?

I bought this Maschine Plus from Zzounds a few weeks ago, I finally open it, so that I could set it up for registration so that I could download updates and to get my 9 free expansion sounds. Soon as I turn it on it goes to update but when I press the update button, it says updates can’t be found and it won’t open up to any other pages like settings so I can put in my WiFi or nothing. I shut it down restarted it nothing still the same screen keeps popping up.

Aside from that you may need to contact NI support.

Hmmm, why would it be trying to update if it hasn't even got a wifi connection yet?

Is it supposed to be a brand new unit?

Try the system reset file in the thread that ozon mentioned.

Yes this is a brand new unit I never used it just opened it and turned it on and it went straight to update the Maschine Plus press the update button but it can’t find the update

From what you write then I can not tell if you correctly setup the Maschine Plus

For setup then try following the instructions in this set of videos , that will take about a half hour to watch !! (setup instructions includes using your smart phones camera !)

Also important : the Zzounds deal says that you must have registered the Maschine Plus by April 30, to get the 9 Maschine Expansions sound packs FREE from Native Instruments!

i watch all the setup videos it’s not allowing me to even set it up is what I’m trying to say i simply just turned it on and it goes straight to the if you want to update the Maschine press this button but it say it can’t find any updates and won’t let me go to any other screen my settings button not even opening up I seen a guy on YouTube with the similar issue he said NI had to replace his

@Thahomie Based on the content of other similar threads, check if there's a *.nut file on the SD card. If there is, delete it.

I assume the SD card is the one that shipped with the unit, not one you've put in?

From what I can see, having this *.nut file on the SD card makes the unit want to update, but obviously that will only work once it has an internet connection, which should be the first thing that appears when you first boot it fresh from the box.

The file shouldn't be there, but maybe you have a rogue unit. Also you could try starting it up without an SD card.
