Bought full version of Kontakt 7 but demo instruments still exists

Hi there

I installed an older version of NI as I'm running on an old Mac OS 10.13

Kontakt player worked fine. However the samples/instrument I loaded worked fine but as only a DEMO that expired after 15 minutes.

I then purchased the Kontakt 7 Bundle

When I added the serial number to NI it added the bundle of instruments, Kontakt Library etc.

However the samples/instrument is still in DEMO mode even when I went to 'upgrade'. I can't see Kontack 7 in the NI list only the Kontakt 6 player.

Any suggestions? It would be great if I can remove the demo access on the instrument ASAP as I need these instrument for a song I'm recording.

Last supported version of Kontakt on macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) is Kontakt 6.6.1 . Your OS simply do not support Kontakt 7 (Ref. : SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, Intel Macs i5 or higher : macOS 12, 13 or 14 latest update)

Further more , then both Native Access might not show items not compatible with your OS but also it might not show all products if N.A. itself is too old ! Also , Kontakt versions that are too old can not be used with newer products that require a newer or newest version of Kontakt !

Thanks for the response. That is very helpful. I understand with regards issues if N.A. is too old

I have found a user on this community who is willing to trade my copy of Kontakt 7 for their copy of Kontakt 6.

They have sent me a screenshot which shows their version is Kontakt 6.8.0 which is not compatible with my OS.

If I trade and install Kontakt 6 would I be able run it as version 6.6.1 or earlier?

Yes ! , you can find the download for the full version of Kontakt V. 6.6.1 from the macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) section of the page Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS , and also previous version from other OS topics on same page ! (downloads will have to be activated after installation using Native Access)

Normally I don't think that you can return the software after registering it but it is possible that since you can not actually use the the product that you bought then N.I. support might give you a refund , I can not promise you that they will but the worst that there can happen is that they say no ! : N.I. Purchase and Account Support

Also , you do not need any license to use the legacy Player versions of Kontakt linked to above !
