Why hasn't NI created a control surface for mixing and producing such as ICON V1-M?

It would be even better if NI could create a keyboard/Control Surface (motorized faders) led levels and plugin touch panel along with drum pad version. Put it all in a modular keyboard sized sleek box. Am I asking too much. Does NI need a design?

    Imo, unless they decide to realize a proper DAW, we will never see anything like this.

    NI realize HW only to have controllers deeply dedicated to their softwares (it all started with a software/hardware deep integration mentality).

    Therefore, no NI DAW, no DAW controller

    Makes sense. Perhaps an open Daw that's a DAW Bed for any DAW? This would allow all NI hdw to integrate with any DAW or OS.
