Record MIDI in Ableton Live using Maschine as a VST

I'm using Ableton as my main DAW and have plug in a Maschine MK3, Komplete Kontrol and Akai MPK mini. I have loaded Maschine as a VST and can only record when playing the Komplete keyboard or the Akai MPK. When I try to record from the Maschine I only hear the sound but is not recording the MIDI note.

I don't want to use the Maschine MK3 in MIDI mode.
