Traktor Scratch Pro v. 3.5.2 Decks will not calibrate

After mixing a few tracks, I took a short break. I got back on the decks and all of a sudden neither deck will calibrate. During the break, I didn’t shut anything down and no changes were made in the Traktor settings. The common piece of gear between the decks and the laptop is the Audio 6 interface. I’ve swapped out the USB cable between the Audio 6 and the laptop… no help. I’ve since shut down everything, rebooted the laptop, power cycled the Audio 6… still no help. See links below. I'm getting a message that says, "Low timecode quality: Check source" message after calibration fails. I've changed the stylus to a spare, that didn't help. "Direct Thru" is working just fine.

It's been suggested in the TraktorPro subreddit, that with my setup, primarily mixing with timecode, occasionally with "Direct Thru", that the Audio 6 interface isn't necessary... that I can connect the DJM450 directly to the laptop via the USB connector on the mixer. Can I get a definitive answer on that? I'd like to eliminate the interface if that's possible.

Thanks!

Even the pioneer webside says so ;-) https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/product/mixer/djm-450/black/overview/

This guide is specifically for recording, but comes very close https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209590929-How-to-Record-in-TRAKTOR-with-a-Pioneer-DJM-Mixer

More or less just connect the mixer via USB, choose it as the audio interface, make sure the routing is correct, easy peasy.

    [SOLVED]

For some odd reason, the buffer size on the "Audio Setup" dialog got changed from 256 to 32. I experimented with values lower than 256 and got down to 96 before I started getting the "Calibration failed" error. Many thanks to those that offered suggestions on the TraktorPro subreddit! I'll be looking further into removing the A6 and connecting the mixer directly to the laptop, but for right now, I'm happy to be up 'n runnin' again! 😀
