Can Rig Kontrol 3 work as a MIDI controller without a computer?

Hi, I have Rig Kontrol 3.

I want to use this as a MIDI controller without using a computer.

Is it possible?

I powered Rig Kontrol 3 via USB and connected a MIDI cable to MIDI OUT,

but no MIDI signal seems to come out from MIDI OUT even when I press the switch.

Rig Kontrol 3 was designed to operate software within computers.

That's what I understand.

However, I would be happy if it could work as a MIDI controller without a computer.

Pretty sure you need it connected to a computer and have a compatible version of controller editor running.

As I was worried, it seems to be true that Rig Kontrol 3 is unusable without a computer.

I wanted to use Rig kontrol 3 as a MIDI controller for my guitar pedalboard, but I'm giving up on that.

I just ordered a regular MIDI controller for that purpose.

Hello there, just bought the rig kontrol 3 and searching in the same way to use it without computer, i already tried with powered usb hub, with a classic usb alim cable, nothing, the only way to be mobile I think would be with a surface tablett...

But I find nothing about this compatibility, anyone have tried?

Indeed YOU NEED a driver/process to be running for it at all time to make use of it. I have spend hours on researching the standalone possibility in the past but you cant.
