Creating a fade using automation in Maschine MK 3

Can anyone teach me how to fade a song in Maschine MK3 using automation?

    There is no automation for the master track. What you need to do in order to perform a fade out or in for everything is route all the groups' audio so they don't send their audio to master any longer, but instead to one empty otherwise unused group and automate the level of that group (as it now is effectively your new master)

    Fading should be much simpler than this! In Ableton, for example, you can drag a fade in and out at the click of a button. I hope this is something NI is considering in a future upgrade.
