I bought a new mixer and went into my Traktor Pro 3 preferences and somehow changed my Input and Output routing. I have absolutely no idea what to set them to so,in my wisdom I tried to revert back to an existing copy of Traktor Pro 3.

I messed it up and now I have no idea what to set the Input & Output routing to, to get my CDJ 's and, my DJM 250MK2 working in my Traktor Pro setup. I tried to restore it to a previous installation of Traktor Pro I had in the backup settings but, messedup.

I am trying to set it all back up from the start but, unsure what the Input & Output routing settings should be set too ? To get it to play and record as normal. Please, please can you advise me on the settings I need to get my CDJ 's and my DJM-250MK2 working and, recording a mix again.

Thanks so much for any help Native Instruments, I really am desperate ? Been without my music for weeks now.

Thanks so much,

Hey, have you been able to solve your problem yet?

Here are a few screenshots of how I did it, for example on a DJM-S9. I think it should be about the same with the DJM-250MKII.

The inputs and outputs are always given in mono channels.

So could e.g. sometimes channel 0 / 1 for the Aux / Mic input and then channel 02 / 03 for Deck A and 04 / 05 for Deck B and so on... But in a normal case it would be channel 01 / 02 for Deck A and 03/04 for Deck B.

You then do the same routing for the outputs as for the inputs.

BTW: You have to switch to USB on your Mixer for it to work, instead of Line or Phono.

( Unfortunately in Traktor the first channel is always given as 0, which can sometimes be very confusing. In Pioneer it is channel 1, so they are always shifted, which can sometimes get lost in stressful situations during changeovers in the club -> Until I find the right channels on an DJM-A9 or V10, I ****** my pants always twice. )
