How to record changing phrase animator on session string pro 2

I can't change the phrase by C2 D2 E2 etc. If I press these notes, there are sounds, no switching notes. The only way is to click with the mouse on the main window, and it's not recorded as I play it on the midi channel. I use Reaper.

You have to double click the phrase you want so that it's selected as the one you want to play. It's probably best to run Session Strings by itself in Kontakt 7 (outside of the DAW) to make sure you know how to get it working, then load it into the DAW and it will work fine.

Choose Group then Pad and add Session String Pro 2 now press next empty Pad and Link with group 1 as SEND and Strings as Receive group 1.

Do it with all Pads and doesn't matter if they are empty just press them one by one and adjust which Note and Octave they will trigger.

Thanks. It's about recording the changes of phrases. I know to select this but the notes C2, D2 etc are not assigned for changing, are normal notes. even in midi window, normally we select these notes for changing phrases but not in this case.

You can change trigger notes in Kontakt.

Let's say you have to press twice which then in that case ( weird ) again use empty Pad or Pads, depending on how you wish to play but same can be done in (Cubase and all major DAW's and Reaper is one of those PRO DAW) by choosing two separate MIDI Channels with same Kontakt but again I think there must be a way to lower trigger's because otherwise it was meant to be played like that, note - legato, Note - staccato ect.

However time passed and I hope that this challenge is solved.

Use Maschine it's made my workflow much easier.
