Lost Access to Any non-Native Instruments Plug-in (gray exclamation point

Overnight, I randomly lost access to any instrument that I haven't downloaded directly through Native Access. Initially, all the instruments were marked with a grey exclamation point, and none would load through Komplete Kontrol. Following the instructions I saw

Just following up here if deleting the corrupted XML files in step 3 on this page helps resolve the issue?
