N.A. Path management is still broken

Path management is a nightmare, and when you have hundreds of instruments in your library (510) having to reinstall a random selection of them whenever you update NA because their paths keep getting lost is ridiculous. Starting up Kontakt 7 and then having a DIFFERENT set of instruments missing, with a notification to correct the issue in NA, is infuriating. Every update costs me HOURS of uninstalling and reinstalling, just to correct path issues.

(I have been told that there is a way to fix this by manually editing the registry of my computer each time for each path error, but should I really be expected to do this?)

Why was the ability to locate instruments and change paths removed? Why are instruments being installed in different directories, on different drives, than the samples they need when I update an instrument? Why do you keep changing the default install location? If you are going to try to automate everything you need to at least do it correctly, and hobbling users ability to fix problems created by poor coding is not a good strategy.

Please find someone who can fix these issues!

Hello, I'm encountering the same issue right now. Need help!

After updating Kontakt 7, few instruments couldn't be updated, because their path mapping is not correct.

The mapping sends the updates to an old external drive that I have had in the past, but the file management settings it should be sent to the right, new external driver, where there rest of my NI plugins are stored

    How to fix that?
