Maschine MKII unable to update

I just purchased this model.

I have downloaded the Native Access setup but when I launch the program I get this message: "Failed to download latest update". Also "Download Failed". I have tried reinstalling but now when I launch the program, it goes straight to that window. I cannot get passed it. I have allowed access through my firewall (simplewall) but no joy. I'm out of ideas. It's incredibly depressing as you can imagine.

I am on Windows 10.

Thanks

    HI

So, it turns out there were 2 problems.

The first was the Native Access app. The version that was linked to on the box was outdated. Eventually found where to get the newest and everything went fine. I now have everything working.

The other problem is to do with the serial number. I bought this second hand so it will not accept the serial because the license still belongs to who I bought it from. And, of course, I can't get back in touch with him. At least for now.

So I've submitted a request to help sort that out.

Once that is done I should be good to go :)

    Hello,

have you tried to open native access as administrator by right clicking on the icon and select "start as administrator", in some cases strangely it helped to make a new download folder and point native access there in the settings as new download folder.

    I've tried that.

The odd thing is, if I uninstall and then reinstall I get the same window again. There is a retry button which does nothing. That's it.

I thought it might be missing something so I downloaded drivers for this model. I then ran an update which I also downloaded. That seems to work ( the update I mean) and it appears as a controller in my DAW settings ( Ableton but have also tried FL Studio). The two mini screens are lit up but that's all.

I am at my wit's end.

Maybe I understand you wrong, you don't mean an update within native acces, of maschine for example, as I first thought, you mean native access itself?

You also could check controlled folder access, and see there under history or something like that and maybe allow all native stuff there, even if this wasn't a problem a while here in the forum. This might also be helpful
