traktor controller s2 dosent work

hi guys, i have the traktor s2 [mk1] i think and its not working with the traktor 3 pro software... i can see that the software is connected with the s2 but i cant use it. the midi icon is off and in the input decks [a and b] i cant put anything, nothing to chose from... only says "not connected".

i dont have any sound interface... the s2 is connected with usb and the monitors are connected to the s2.
