Still can't get Mikro Mk3 to control Logic in Midi mode
Essentially nothing happens. Can't figure what I'm missing. I can see a blue dot in the transport indicating it's receiving a signal from Mikro, but nothing happens. Works fine when I open Maschine 2. Tried the Group midi routing in Maschine 2 also, no luck. I can also see in Control Editor that the pads are staring from C-1 at the bottom left. Goes into Midi mode, tried the Mackie Control in setup. Still absolutely nothing.
I'm still using my relic MPC as a midi controller for drums within Logic, but just was hoping Mikro could do it.

First of all, what do you want to achieve? Do you want your Mikro MK3 to control Logic as in controlling Logic Play/Stop/Rec with the Mikro MK3? Or do you want to play your Logic virtual instruments with the Mikro MK3 in MIDI mode? The thing is you can't have both.
If you want to use yhe Mikro to play your instruments, it's very important NOT to load the Mackie Control template in Controller Editor, as you can see in this templatre all the notes are off:
So, first thing is to put it back to default by choosing "New" in the Edit section.
Then make sure that the Mikro MK3 is selected as a MIDI input in Logic:
And finally, if the instrument you're playing has a limited note range, you can navigate through the different octaves of the Mikro MK3 by pressing the GROUP button plus pads 9 to 13 (or A to H).

Thanks so much. Still having no luck using it as a instrument controller. Been through the groups and set up the editor as you stated. Who knows why, must be user error somewhere. Cheers, Brian

You've set the controller to MIDI mode, right? That's done by pressing SHIFT + the Maschine logo.
Can you see MIDI activity in Logic when you hit the keys?

Yes, I put into midi mode. A small yellow indicator light shows on the top right of the transport, when I hit the pads. It just won't control any instuments though. If In hit the pads, some will stop and start the track and perform random actions.
Maschine Mikro doesn't show up at all under the Audio Midi setup utility though. But it does show up under the Midi settings in Logic, under input and the on light is lit.
Have downloaded the midi monitor and Mikro shows up. The only triggers it picks up are aftertouch and note off. And c
