For years I've been using mashine in midi mode to play superior drummer and ez drummer as I love the feel of the pads. Today I switched to midi mode and nothing is coming thru. Normal machine mode works fine. I must have changed a setting somewhere but have no clue as to what.... pls help..... working in studio one. I've added machine as an external device three different ways.... still nothing.

success !!.... under "receive from" I selected virtual input and it worked. Being a 100% left brain guy with no sense of logic I have no idea what virtual input means. Can you help define that? Why is it virtual? I have a usb cable from the mashine to the computer. It seems very real to me...lol

When you add it, does it get accepted? Is there a yellow attention sign on its icon? Did you set up the ports it has to receive from?

Don’t know what to tell you. Sometimes names of things don’t correspond to what we would expect…

Happy anyway you have it up and running 👍🏼
