    Follow the instructions in the link below for "Maschine - Ableton Live 11 Template", but copy the MIDI scripts to your Ableton 12 installation rather than the Ableton 11 installation. I tried that on my Windows system and it works ok.

    For some reason in Ableton 11 I don't get the proper MIDI mode

    Explain more Drifter, I don't understand?!

    Just for context, Maschine EXT will connect to the MIDI ports and Maschine CTRL will connect to the USB. Is that what you're saying?

    Hi , i have a Maschine mk3 , i had Ableton 10 , tried to use the template for the mk3 but all i seem to be able to control are mixer levels, the pads work with a drumvrack but wont trigger clips and there is currently no control of devices . I have tried the Ableton upgrade to 12 but the remote script for Maschine is for Ableton 11 and doesnt seemvto work with 12 . Am i doing something wrong or missing something in the control editor ? Bit confused as it did seem tovwork okay previously with live 10.

    Well, I'm facing an error too. I just tried to install the maschine mk3 for ableton 12, following their step by step, but when I open the DAW I receive an error message: "the following control surface script packages are not compatible with the current version of Live: _NativeInstruments If possible get updates from the original authors". =(((

    This script for Ableton 12.1 ans maschine mk3 doesnt work on my macbook. Nothing happens when I launch Ableton after copied and pasted the differents folder, and changed the configuration on the preference software..

    Just to confirm the script for Live 12 does not work for my MK3. Previous script did not work for Live 11 either. Maybe the reason is that there is not a compatible 11 or 12 template for NI Controller Editor ?… there is only an old MK3 template for Live 9.0. Another 10 years and maybe we'll have an update from NI 🙏 … or pay for a third party script.

    Please NI help us with the template for Controller Editor

    I can't use the MK3 on ableton 12 as a midi controller and that's so sad for a product of this quality
