Will a Second Hand Device Work?

Hi all,

I’ve been tempted to buy a Maschine controller ever since I first got my NI audio interface a few years ago. I got the Maschine 2 software with that and I like it, and I’ve bought several expansions since then.

But if I buy a second hand unit, will it work properly with the software, or is it locked in some way so only the original purchaser can register it? Also, is the version of Maschine 2 you get free with an interface compatible with a second hand Maschine device, or is it a lite version perhaps?

It should work just fine without registration if you already have the SW, but you can request that the original owner do a License Transfer so it is all official!!! Give this article a read!!!
