How do I remove libraries in this god-awful program?

I swear, the music industry has the worst programmers, topped only by government websites, which is disgusting, considering how much everything costs.

I have several libraries in my library, that I installed at some point and then deleted the folders for. Now Native Access only allows me to "locate" them, even though the folders don't exist. I can't remove them from the list and install them again, I can't fix them and even that removal tool (which is a brilliant step forward in the field of user experience in itself) doesn't see them. Now I'm basically stuck with unreachable libriaries... forever.

At some point i tried locating a config file or somesuch, where I could delete them manually, but didn't succeed.

Has this happened to anyone before?

If the annoyance continue - which it might then perhaps the annoyance builds on a misunderstanding with respect to the use of the interface ?

The Native Access interface can be set to show All your downloads (which includes what is already Installed as well as also what is not yet installed but Available) or can be set to show only what is Installed !

If you use the Installed option when browsing then the annoyance ought to go away !

Then that part of your problem could be another.

If it only shows locate and it does not offer install then that would suggest that you are referring to third-party libraries !

Some third-party libraries you can not install via Native Access , you have to download the installer from your third party Kontakt library supplier and then install the library using the suppliers instructions (sometimes it's just un-zip and move to hard drive location) and then having done that then use the locate in Native Access !

Otherwise , then please tell which "those libriaries" you are referring to ?

For some third party you have to download them and tell Native Access where they are, even though they're licenced through Native Access. I had a few Sonic Couture libraries that worked like that. There's usually a link on the manufacturer's web site for the download.

I don't know if resetting the Native Access XML file will solve your problem , but you could try it , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access

Else there are also product XML files , at least for N.I. products , look at section 3. You have corrupted XML files' here : My Products Are Showing As DEMO in Native Access

Nope, removing XML files didn't help.

I do know about the tabs, but the problem is that I want to install those libriaries again, not just hide them. They're in the Available tab with the same single "Locate" button and I can't do anything about them.

I checked, they are libriaries that NI didn't make, but I activated their codes in Native Access and downloaded them through there. I guess I'll have to download them through other means.

Yeah, as PoorFellow pointed out too, they were third-party libraries, that I activated the codes for in NA and downloaded them through there, but I guess that was not enough. Gonna try downloading them through third party installers, I guess.

In my experience most, if not all 3rd party libraries have their own download/install utility which you use first which positions the library files correctly and in the correct format for inclusion as Kontakt libraries, then you simply add them to Kontakt which registers them in the database.
