Manual triggering of up/down strums in NI Picked Acoustic?

I'm new to Session Guitarist Picked Acoustic, so still learning. Is there a way to manually trigger up and down strums (say, using a defined trigger key)? It would be nice to be able to play real-time strums rather than programming in the preset patterns.

    Not sure to follow, Picked Acoustic is more a finger picking library so there are not so many strum options. There's a melody instrument where you can play the notes by yourself but no strumming options, or do you mean another library, like Strummed Acoustic?
