How to reactivate my Kontrol S2 on my new laptop?

I have a new Mac laptop.

I installed Native Access and with it Traktor Pro and the Controller Editor.

However my Tractor Kontrol S2 shows no reaction when I connect it. The Programm and Setup Wizard does not recognize it.

Did I forget something?

Thanks for your help, It's a long time ago that I installed it on my old MAC

First question that comes to mind, since you say you installed it long time ago, is if your S2 is the first version. Unluckily in that case, it is not listed under compatibility list for Mac for Apple Silicon nor Sonoma, so I’m afraid it will not work.

If on the other hand it is An MK2 or MK3 it should work. Some things you can start to check are: trying a different USB port on your new Mac, be sure that all involved pieces of the puzzle have full disk access, have an ulterior check on the old Mac to see if there it is working and if it turns on

Thank you for your help! Its an MK2 but still not working.

Sometimes the lights flash for a second...

Could it be the USB cable? I'm not using the original one and its connected to an USB to USB C adapter.

It could be. But if S2 is working on another computer with the same cable, it’s not so probable.

Does it behave the same with all your new Mac midi ports?

I don't know what solved the problem, but all of a sudden it's working now.

It might have been some connection issue along the line.

Thank you for taking care though!
