Stem Waveform On/Off Visual

When using stems I often wish I was able to visually see which waveforms are active. Like a fully visible waveform at 100% volume, an invisible or shadow waveform at 0%, and various levels of fullness or dimming as you go up or down. Sometimes I just get lost in the sauce mixing stems on four decks and a visual like that would be great to have.

There is a mapping command to switch between 4 stem waveforms and a single waveform. It's called 'DAW View'. You can map that command to any control element or key you like to toggle between the display types.

Strangely the Traktor GUI does not provide a clickable surface for that...

Yeah, I've seen that but it still doesn't give me the on-screen info I'm looking for. Serato has exactly what I'm looking for but I'm not willing to switch over a simple feature and have to deal with their lack of stem hardware and control. https://serato.com/dj/pro/stems

For now, I've just made a mapping on my Maschine Jam that shows me which decks and stems are active as well as FX toggles for each stem.

You are talking about the 'mute' function, right?

Do you use all 8 hotcues? If not then dedicate last 4 cues as a slot mute inducator.

Mute off = Set Cue

Mute on = Delete cue
