"Full Kontakt Required" when opening 3rd party
i got a couple of non-Kontakt guitar plugins-just got the Wrongtools Jaguar Guitar pluginin which is supposed to work when opening in complete Kontrol. when i try to load a patch, it keeps saying i need the full version of Kontakt-which im running (v 7.8) also am running latest Komplete Kontrol. very frustrating
i can kind of get it to work when loading patches individually but cant save them to access later (the save as function is greyed-out) possibly because it assumes im not running full version of Kontakt-the whole process is just leading me in circles and i could use some help-any ideas? thanksin advance!

If you are on Mac 10.12.6 (your profile info) then I don't think that K7 is supported and you should disregard the below other than Mac related links at post bottom ! :
If you have any old version of Kontakt installed that you do not use anymore then try uninstalling that .
Else then my guess is that you need to reset the Komplete Kontrol database or the Kontakt database or both ?
Prior to doing anything then make sure to have backed up any project or DAW files that could possibly be affected by this (sorry I have no idea if)(If in doubt yourself then take a computer backup first !)

Or try to reinitialize the KONTAKT Database : https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/10631869986717-My-KONTAKT-7-Browser-is-Empty-or-Incomplete
Otherwise you might at least also list computer type and OS version !

Are you sure you're not running or loading the latest Kontakt Player rather than the full paid-for version? Third party Kontakt libraries that aren't licenced by NI need the full version.

ok thanks for the help-sorry i forgot to mention the details-im on OSX 13.2 now-latest version of Kontakt 7 is installed but i wonder maybe not registered?
i bought K6 back when i was on my older system that crashed and im just getting back up and running-i re-added the serial for 6 in native access but do i need to add/re-authorize for 7? or buy it?
is rhat why i getting "requires full Kontakt" messages-i assumed i'd get a "not authorized" or add serial reminder and when i updated to K7 i thought i was good!
my other official Kontakt instruments like etheral earth etc are running fine its the 3rd party stuff thats a prob-hope this clarifies a bit and sorry its a newb-type question-i got a ticket in with NI, but any more ideas about how to check my authorization would b great-thanks!

To upgrade to K7 you either needs to buy an upgrade or buy a Komplete 14 bundle (standard or better) that comes with K7.
Quote : "latest version of Kontakt 7 is installed but i wonder maybe not registered" and : "and when i updated to K7 i thought i was good!"
If you have already updated to Kontakt 7 full version then you ought to have received a serial that you should have registered in Native Access add serial ! Please check the "MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS" page to see if the Kontakt 7 serial is listed as not registered or as already registered ! If not registered then just fill in serial in Native Access !

All NI expansions will run with Kontakt Player. Some third party ones require the full version of Kontakt which is the case with the Wrongtools expansions. Check the About box in Kontakt - if it says "Kontact Player" that's why the Wrongtools expansions aren't working.
