can this type of patch be reproduced using Kontakt??
i came across this video today... and thought how clever the patch was designed to take into account the orchestral sounds....
its an interesting method of layering for a dynamic means of expression... quite cleverly thought out!
a experienced person who works with orchestral might have a good gauge on whether the options used to bring forward the varying degrees of layering needed to have something so impactful!!
thoughts anyone?
can this be replicated with Kontakt or komplete?

Just watching the first few minutes of the video it seems like you could recreate a similar sound in Kontakt by loading similar instruments and setting them all to the same MIDI channel?

I mean it works in theory, but I think it would take a fair amount of tinkering in Kontakt for it to sound close to the video. But even with just defaults it sounds pretty cool.

the cleverness of velocity threshhold being reached made me immediately wonder if we have that type of control in Kontakt cos the idea of the dynamic velocity thresholds makes sense...
afterall its not like violins have much variation in volume contro!!, so putting those on a lower velocity range makes sense!!
in all truth i havent really touched Kontakt since purchasing... i load up hybrid keys for piano-esque type sound... but beyond that... orchestral didnt interest me til i saw that video!!
