MIDI Pitch and Gate Modules not working in Reaktor 6 Builder

Hi there,

As the title suggests, the Reaktor 6 MIDI NotePitch and Gate modules aren't transmitting any MIDI information from my MIDI keyboard. This is especially odd as I know reaktor is seeing MIDI data from using the MIDI monitor. The screenshot shows my set-up. As you can see, the MIDI monitor is displaying note information but the notepitch and gate modules dont appear to be seeing anything - no audio is coming out. I've yet to find a solution for this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to tell from the pic you posted.

Could be the ensemble is listening on the wrong midi channel. Or maybe you need a voice combiner, if there are more than one poly voice... or turn the oscillator to monophonic mode.

    Could be your I/O settings...

    Try to isolate the issue.

e.g. instead of the note-in and gate, attach a constant of 1 to the A input and a constant of 60 to the P input. If there is still no sound, then you know it's not the note-In or the gate that are the problem. You can also plug the note-in straight into a numeric display, to see if its getting suitable values. Do the same with the gate.

Thanks for the reply. The oscillator works perfectly fine when I give it constant values for pitch and amplitude, just doesn't work with MIDI. How do I define what MIDI channel the ensemble listens to?

Connect tab in the ensemble properties, then if that's set correctly, but still no joy, try 'Audio and MIDI settings' in the file menu.
