I never suggested that NKS were mandatory , and anybody reading your previous post ought to be able to see that you tell as much. So I find it a bit hard to understand why you think it necessary to specify that it is not when I trying to assist points out that more NKS integration is available in case that it is missing per standard ! ?

What I wrote were not in conflict or opposition to what you wrote , it were a contribution complementing the information that you gave yourself !

I just specified for a user who clearly stated that he is new to all of this and that he doesn’t know what to expect that, although he received answers talking about NKS for a question simply asking if something would work or not, NKS is not necessary in order to have it working.

Which were strangely enough also one of the reasons that I added my contribution/addition/info (when you divided things into two categories)(the with NKS and the not with NKS) so that the user were informed that that were also possible.

And quote : "The ones with NKS will be listed in Maschine’s library to the left, with all the graphics, presets lists, parameters already premapped and all the bells and whistles."

Which I would say is a darn good reason for me to add/contribute the information to the user about about the possibility of adding NKS , especially , quote : "for a user who clearly stated that he is new to all of this" , and even if "NKS is not mandatory in order for plugins to work" !

Hi there and thanks in advance for help!

I tried using the free mellotron library that you suggested.

I start saying I'm quite new to Native and Kontakt.

I tried to add the library to my Kontakt libreries but it tells me the files are not supported.

I wonder if I'm doing something wrong (but I just used the "import content" window and selected the folder…
