can I license used Kontakt 6 full version with original serial

Bought a used DVD version of Kontakt 6 full version with serial # but not from the original owner.. can I activate and license it?

Haven't completed the purchase yet so NEED to act fast and NI is everything but.

Person that have registered the serial originally need to transfer it to you via the original owner persons account on native-instruments.com ! , read this (ref. Otherwise the used Kontakt serial is just that , an (already) used serial of no use to you ! The only serials that is of direct use to you is new serials that has never been used. All used serials , software and hardware, are transferred by original owner via N.I. account and a License Transfer ID to you ! If there is a problem doing that, e.g. original owner is deceased, then either party needs to kontakt N.I. support to see if they can work it out with support and outcome of that is depending on support and the situation !

It is not as uncommon as you may think. People buy second hand hardware but they already have the software, so they don't need the extra serial number, so they never activate it.

Simply, add the serial to your Native Access and you will found out immediately if it is accepted or not.
