No, problem. NA will not be confused. Even update of Libraries will work without changing Content folder.
Simply, one may install part to one location, change Content folder in NA and install another part to a new location. Everything works since then as if it is one location.
Content folder in NA indicates to where new content should be installed. Updates are done to folder where particular content is installed. One may use multiple folders, disks....

You can install Kontant libraries on any drive. Native Access will always install them to the "Content Location" set in preferences so to install things on a separate drive you can change that before installing. You can also move content after installing and use the "Relocate" feature to tell Native Access where they've been moved to.

Hello,
Is it possible to install Kontakt plugins on several SSDs.
I need 5tb and SSDs are usually 4tb max...
THANK YOU.

But if you change the content location to a 2nd drive, isn't NA going to freak out because it's expecting everything else to be there as well?
I didn't think it was possible to maintain two separate install locations for NA libraries? I could be completely wrong though.

You could keep the instruments and Applications on your computer or laptop,
and move Samples, sounds libraries, effects, ETC.. onto your SSD.
You just got to be Very Tidy, because you've got to locate /relocate it, after(sometimes..).
A little bit at a time will help if you're not planning on moving it anytime soon...Bonne Chance.

Sure, instruments and applications should stay on internal disc. They are not that big. But Libraries and Expansions may well be on external disc, if it is fast one.
