Essentially, I am trying to perform using the MK3 without having to record and layer effects on the vocal track, I would like to have the artist sing into the microphone and be able to hear the effects live, is this possible?

Step 1.) Select a Sound Pad, go into the CHANNEL settings... There you go to INPUT... Select the Input where the microphone is connected. (Example: IN 1 L or IN 2 R or IN 1&2 etc...)

If your gain is set correctly you should already start to hear the Microphone.

Step 2.) You can leave it as is, or route the audio output to other Sound Pads, or Groups, or External Outputs (like to 3&4 for headphones) using the CHANNEL settings again, then go to OUTPUT this time.

Step 3.) Just Add Effects as desired like another other Sound... Or, more advanced, use AUX sends to different Sound Pads for Wet/Dry, and Parallel type effects
