Hmm...
Well...from my experience, it did happen like that to my DAW as well, but the solution I did is more subjective that objective.
I simply used Task Manager to set priority to the highest option for CakeWalk DAW.
I use a laptop with a bonus cooler so that my laptop doesn't get hot.
If you use laptop with a cooler, this solution might be for you.
Let me know how it went.
As far as I know, the uninstallation and reinstallation of Kontakt will not erase the presets, but just in case, screenshot the presets from the instruments you use inside Kontakt before you uninstall and then reinstall the software!
@Arttu for future reference, when posting about issues like this, it's best to provide as much info as possible about your setup.
In your first post you didn't mention whether you were using PC or Mac, which operating system you're using, which DAW you're using, which audio interface you're using (if any) etc.
Now we know from your second post that you're using a PC.......but that's all.
Profile info : Windows 11 , Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90 GHz
Judging from the generation of the CPU then you most likely also got a sufficient graphics adapter , but else make sure that your PC meets minimum specifications including for graphics ! (Quote : Graphics hardware support for Direct 3D 11.1 (Feature Level 11_0) or higher)
Also please try to reinstall Kontakt while running newest version of Native Access as an admin ! Also prior to re-install then make sure that you have sufficient access privileges to install destination on Windows - at least you have to have full Administrator access !
