Totally safe to buy. I was early adopter of V1 kickstarter. They are hand built with love, and fantastic support. Check their YouTube and FB vids going back quite some time.

LOL, I like the guitar knobs, although I think I like the A2's knobs better...well for me.

I'm definitely going to work on this. It looks like it would be an amazing addition for me...and maybe even moreso than a MK3 keyboard or a MK4 Maschine, the latter of which is still vaporware. Might even be worth delaying my planned upgrade to K15 (assuming that happens this year) too!

Yep, I've sent them an email requesting a conversation, plus I'm going to do some budgeting this weekend. This is thrilling, actually. I'm excited at the chance to get something more of a UI than "just a new monitor screen", even if it only works with VSTs!.

it works with plugins, fx, synths, audio units on mac, and they just added new midi launcher function....not limited to vsts....

really nice supplement to komplete kontrol keyboard and nuances controller....best of all worlds

I was able to resolve my S88 MK3 firmware error (-2) by swapping the supplied cable with a different USB C cable. This was on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra (tried many ports too).

Even after the firmware update, however, I still had to use a different cable. If I tried using the factory supplied cable, not all of the functions of the software/hardware worked correctly and/or had a ton of lag.

Unfortunately, a worse problem was less than one hour of light playing in, I already have a noisy key (F2) — so this is going back. Too many strikes this early on to justify.
