Delay Latency compensation

Hi guys,

I would like to know if there is a latency delay compensation things on internal decks ?
I explained myself : I want to run some hardware in the IN of my S4 Mk3, which is sync by Ableton Link, it's perfectly match, BUT due to latency (yeah ****** laptop...) I can't downsize the buffer and I have a latency to high for match my hardware (MPC or Synth with internal sequencer) correctly.

So if there is a way to delayed the internal decks with the timing of latency, I'll can perfectly match & sync my hardware and my internal deck.

Thanks guys, see you.

I never used it myself, but I saw this screenshot a while ago:

There you can see the ms offset to the left.

Weirdly the manual does not mention it.

The latency delay would be on the channel you are using for your audio in Ableton. Delay is at the bottom of each channel (there is an option to show or hide so make sure it is showing.)

That is what is suggested to use if the software or hardware doesn't have that option by Ableton, when using link.

More than likely you would adjust the master channel in Ableton delay. The only time I have used the delay was for drums and hi hat patterns.
