Playing mixes from Traktor in iTunes

I have a Traktor S4 which I have had for about 12 years. Over that time I have made lots of 45 to 90 minute mixes which I listen to when I am running. These will consist of many different tracks from different artists or different genres or the same genre, whatever I feel like mixing. As the recorded file size was so large in Traktor, I would convert it in iTunes so the file size was smaller and wouldn't take up so much space. Recently though something has happened. Mixes that I had made, converted in iTunes and played on my phone with no problems are now greyed out and have the message 'Cannot be played in your country or region.' This makes no sense as these are mixes of various tracks from CD's I own. Also, a mix that I made just before Christmas plays fine even though this was done after my other mixes which now won't play. The file paths are the same on those that play and those that won't. I tried recording again the mix from iTunes in Traktor and then copying and converting it back in iTunes but it came up with the same message. I have also copied a faulty mix to my son's laptop and synced to his phone and the same message appears.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Can you open the converted files in another media player? For example vlc or what have you.

    It's probably not Traktor related.

Thank you for your prompt answer.
I have not tried playing it in another program. I should have made clear that it plays fine in iTunes on my laptop but just will not play on an iPhone.

Seems like you are not the only one who has problem with this, found a few other cases:

Seems like it might be fixed by starting iTunes / Music app up again and syncing the files to the phone. But I'm not an apple guy.

    Good luck with it.

Thanks again. I do recall the message appearing before and then on the next sync it corrected itself. Looks like an option may be to remove all music and resync. I'm sure that I won't have any issues with that ;-)

A quick update. My son synced his phone again and the mix turned up! He doesn't know why as all he did was sync his phone to his laptop. Doesn't really help but shows how random iTunes is.
