Hey! This problem randomly started. Once i plug in my Audio 6, a loud popping sound constantly plays from input one and two. It is peaking. This is without anything plugged into it. The pops come with probably 0.5 seconds of pause between them. When the pops are playing, no sound comes through my headset. But inbetween the pops i get audio through headphones. As if the audio is sidechained to the pops. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

    Hello,

can you please tell a bit more, how do you have anything connected and what, maybe some speakers, have you tried without them connected, just with headphones for example.

Thanks for the reply! I only have them connected to headphones. However, when it is only connected to my pc via usb, and nothing in it, I can still see the popping on the meters. It is making this noise regardless of what is connected to them.

Then I guess your device is defective and you have to get a replacement. You could test without the PSU connected, maybe this is the problem then you would need a special USB cable without direct electrical connection.

@Aslak It would be great to try the soundcard on a different computer. If it does the same thing then it's most probably a hardwrae issue and you should contact our hardware service here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_Hardware

Yes, it does. Headset amps seem to be busted now, and the inputs don't react to input. This happened randomly. Seems like a huge flaw in the product.
