Has anyone here really studied the internal workings of Molekular?

I'm looking at the internal routing system in molecular and it's kinda confusing.

Molekular has a very flexible internal routing system where you can choose from multiple configurations and you can also place each of the 4 FX into any slot within the routing configuration.

It's the most flexible routing I've ever seen in Reaktor, but the structure is very confusing to me.

I can't quite understand how it works, has anyone here dissected it thoroughly enough to understand it.

I would really like to learn how to build my own for another project.

Not sure that reverse engineering a commercial IP on a public forum run by the IP owner is a particularly good idea?

I don't really feel like this applies to Reaktor in this context, looking at the internal workings of a routing mechanism in an effort to learn how to build your own is one of the founding ideas behind Reaktors open structure.

Copying and pasting and actually using parts of a commercial ensemble would be different, but studying it to learn how to build my own version of it's functionality is kinda the whole point of how Reaktor is designed.

So no, I don't have any issues with asking this question here and I don't believe that NI would have a problem with me using it to learn from in an effort build a similar functionality in my own instrument.

I'd like to be able to re-order and re-route the 4 harmonic modifier modules in a similar or identical manner to how molekular does it.

I'm not 'looking out for the big corporation', I'm looking out for the 'little guy' that could get in trouble for infringing IP.

…but hey, if you're not bothered, just post a bunch of commercial code from Molekular. I would love to see it, and I promise I won't tell!
