M32 stuck in Midi Mode

I've seen a few posted/videos about this but none of the suggested fixes work for me
i.e. Plug direct into PC (not through a hub)
The option to select the M32 in the Komplete Kontrol App is greyed out.
Pressing Shift - Plus-in/Midi buttons has no effect, except making the Octave>Keymode button light go out.
Any ideas?

Check device manager to make sure there is not a Driver error. Check to make sure the NIHostintegration service is running.
you can also try unplugging the KB, uninstall KK, Reinstall KK and then plug back in.
