@Tomboman One colleague tested Logic 11 and can't reproduce the bug with the keyboard anymore, without even updating to Sonoma 14.5. It might be worth a try, you need an Apple Sillicon Mac though, as Logic 11 does not run on Intel Macs.

It does run on Intel Macs (MacOS 13.5 or higher), however some AI functions require Apple Silicon Mac 🧐

@Maciej Repetowski Ah that's interesting, I couldn't try it myself on an Intel Mac but Apple seems to indicate Logic 11 only supports M1 and upwards:

That really sounds great - I need to finish 2 projects till the weekend, then I can give it a go - That would be fantastic

About the M1 chip requirement. In the release logs it says the same, only a few AI stuff needs it:

Add warmth to any track with ChromaGlow, an advanced plug-in with five saturation models designed to simulate the sound of vintage analog hardware.*
Separate a stereo audio file into stems for vocals, drums, bass and other parts with Stem Splitter.*

The requirement for Apple Silicon relates only to new AI functions and enhancements marked with the “star”. Hence the “star” before the sentence “Requires Apple M1 chip or later”.

Only Apple Silicon processors have AI engine on chip (ML engine) so some functions are not working on Intel Macs. But Logic 11 is otherwise fully supported on Intel.

@Tomboman @Maciej Repetowski Thanks for correcting me, that's really good to know and some kind of relief!

    Hi All,

As I consistently stated: the issues were Apple-side, and so it's encouraging to see signs of them being fixed from Apple's side.

We will continue to conduct official tests internally before any official confirmation is provided that one or more of the issues reported are actually fixed. I very much hope that they are, that we can close this chapter of instabilities beyond NI's control affecting our products.

Just to confirm, I'm on intel here and running LogicPro 11. And to add, Sonoma is more than likely the last OS I can update to, but I'll wait until NI gives the go ahead that its fully supported.

    It's all good to go!

Unfortunately it is NOT good to go. My MK3 Kontrol S61 does NOT work with the newest Sonoma update. Now the screen finally shows NI interface, as it did not before, but I can't control and parameters or select anything. The biggest upset out of all this is that when I open a session in Logic, and I try to use the controller, it jumbles up all of my settings for the instance of Komplete Kontrol that I'm on. Easy enough to make copies to test this with, but worrisome that you are seemingly saying this is all good to go based on a few people having success. Now wondering if I bought this for no reason, waited for the fix, and now is too late to return. Any help or fixes please do post!

Now after updating to latest version on Kontakt, the NI interface on the MK3 doesn't even show up anymore. This is so far from being functional.

    @Landen B

Oh I think I have the same problem - I waited for official support to install MK3 - so it was a new install on Sonoma 14.5 and Logic Pro 11

I exactly have the same problem. Blank screen on MK3 both in Logic and Standalone.

I am writing with support as well now, so let's hope they can help. But interesting to see that someone else has the exact problem

Yeah it's funny how a few people got theirs running and its "issue is fixed!". It's clearly not. I have a support ticket but who knows how long that will take? And what are they going to do, tell me to reinstall everything? Check my connections? Make sure I have all the latest updates to driver and/or firmware? Assure I have Full Disk Access to everything I need? I know that there isn't anything wrong with the unit itself because it works like a charm with my laptop that's still on Ventura.

According to your compatibility page, Absynth 5 isn’t compatible.

I had a very short play with it today both stand alone and in Studio One and it seemed to work fine. Talking about just loading and playing a few different presets in the space of about 5 mins, but still, it worked.
