Maschine+ and Komplete Kontrol S49 MK2
Hello everybody!
I use Maschine+ with Maschine Desktop and I want to add a Keyboard. What I'm asking you after this, I tried it with Komplet Kontrol S49 MK3 and it doesn't work. Can it work with MK2 keyboard?
If I connect Maschine+ and Komplete Kontrol S49 MK2 to my Imac (Monterey, version 12.7.3) by USB, do I have the informations on the display of both devices (Maschine+ and Keyboard S49 MK2)... Can I also play, choose, modify (if I want), instruments, filter, and so on, on the pads of Maschine+, instead of using the keyboard... The software is Maschine Desktop... Thanks for help... rené

The Maschine integration with the Kontrol MK3 keyboard is still under evaluation. Even if that may or may not happen at some point, it won't be in the near future. So if you're intending to use the keyboard with the Maschine Plus in standalone (without a computer) or want to have integration within the desktop Maschine, then I'd suggest to get a MK2 keyboard.

Yes, MK2 keyboards still have Maschine software implementations, which have been instead abandoned in MK3.
Even if you will in future use Maschine+ in standalone mode without a computer, connecting a MK2 to it will give you some functionalities also on the keyboard.
About functionalities on the Maschine+ itself…yes, it can be used for all of this even without the keyboard, and plugging the kb won’t make this change

Has it been officially stated that MK3 keyboards will never get Maschine support? It was my understanding that this situation is only temporary and resulted in the whole NKS stack needing a redesign for the MK3 keyboards.. and this new NKS stack is not yet supported on the Maschine platform
If the official answer is "Kontrol Keyboard MK3 products will never be supported in Maschine", I need to buy me one of those MK2 KKeyobards before they become extinct..
