Lights stay blue on Kontrol S61 keys

Lights on the Keys of the S61 don't sync with native software, they stay blue since I migrated to Mac Studio. wondering if anyone has had this issue? any suggestions appreciated.

    Need more info on exactly what you are loading and how you are loading it. You will only ever see key color changes when the Komplete Konrol Light guide is active and ONLY for instruments that support that integration.

    If you are just loading an instance of Kontakt into your DAW and then loading some third-party library - expecting to see the S61 lights change color - you will not. That is not a "light guide" situation.

    Also (a BIG also) you did not specify which "S61" you have - if it is a MK1 model and you have installed Komplete Kontrol v3 - you will never see any colored lights - like ever.

    KKv3 is not supported on the MKI series as of October 2023.

    If your S61 is a MKII (or a brand new MKIII model) - KKv3 will work with either of those - however - I have a MKII here and continue to rely on Komplete Kontrol v2.9.6 as I feel it works best with this model.

    Need some more info here before we can determine exactly what is happening.

    Really appreciate the fast reply, Yes my S61 is the MK1

    Also I do have the V3 installed, That's probably why it's not working as you mentioned. Do I need to uninstall V3 or write over it?

    Yes - uninstall V3 - and roll back to v2.9.6 - all will be well.
