PRISMATIC BLISS is not compatible with MASCHINE+ in standalone mode

Why, out of all the Maschine expansions, is Prismatic Bliss not compatible with Maschine Plus. The expansion was developed in collaboration with Mode Audio, is this related to the reason?

I believe it's simply because it contains REX files, which the M+ can't use.

Why NI can't just remove the REX files for the M+ version (which downloads over wifi anyway) I have no idea.

In theory you can just copy the folders & files from your computer to the M+ but you don't get the nice graphics etc.

Can anyone confirm that this works? I thought I remembered a post from the old forum that somebody tried to do it and was unable to.

Feels low rent that even sample packs don't work on the flagship device. Come on now. If REX files is the problem get rid of them.

Sample packs do work on M+. Prismatic Bliss seems to be an exception, which is stated on the product page.

I can ask more details to our support about those REX files. Will keep you updated!

Hi, the rx2 files exist but there is also the wav version of each sound (probably as from a recent upgrade of the expansion ?) . Copy the Prismatic Bliss dir from your laptop into the Maschine + SD card or in the external storage if you have it and browse as user. It appears ! if a sample is not recognized, locate it into the SD card or the external storage.
