MIDI Keyboard, no sound

Hi all, I am trying to use my Akai MPK Mini as a midi controller and, while it appears and it's selected in the MIDI preferences of Maschine, there is no sound coming out. Interestingly, when I used a different computer it does work. Any ideas as to why and how to fix it?

Thank you, I was able to fix the problem. In Maschine Preferences, Default there's the "Default MIDI Input Mode", it was showing None instead of Focus.

I am using Maschine, Mojave IOS

Make sure the MPK MIDI port is activated in Prefs>Input then check the Pad/Group Input Source, either select All or the MPK specific MIDI Port.

I'd go further back and make sure your AKAI is even selected as a MIDI input

You gotta give more details than "didnt work".... Is the MIDI Port showing there?
