License transfer for a friend whose borrowing MK3

Hey team,

I have a M+ and I'm letting my friend borrow my MK3 to try out and see if they like it. If I transfer the license/serial number, and say they don't like it and want to give it back, is it possible to send the license/serial number back?

I'm assuming Support should be able to step in via ticket I submit, but I figured I ask here first to see if anyone has any experience with this scenario.

Well... That's is def not the purpose of license transfers...

Note that after you transfer or buy something, theres a period where further transfers are disabled, 30 or 60 days I don't quite remember.

But, then again, if you transfer an MK3 license both the seller and buyer get to keep their "software", so...... yeah.... interpret that as you will ;) I'd still ask support just in case, I wouldn't want my account somehow marked for abusing or something.

It’s 60 days withholding period on license transfer every time it has been redeemed. NI Support can override this withholding period on reasonable request.

Not sure if letting a friend borrow it qualifies as resonable tho... But from my experience NI support tends to be rather flexible with this stuff compared to other companies.
