Help! Guitar Rig 6 crashes Logic and Ableton whenever I close the Plug-in window
As you can see by the title, Guitar Rig 6 keeps crashing my DAW's whenever I close the plug-in window. I've done everything I could think of and find online but nothing seems to work. For context, Guitar Rig 5 doesn't have the same issue. It works perfectly. I'm running the latest version of Ableton, the latest version of Logic, and Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1.
Is anyone able to help or offer some advice?
Thanks!

Hi @Eptiar ,
this is a very unfortunate situation. Guitar Rig 6 is not fully compatible with macOS Sonoma. We recently released Guitar Rig 7.0.2, which brings full macOS Sonoma compatibility. Sadly it's not feasible to adapt Guitar Rig 6 in the same way.

Thanks for the help but no luck. My Ableton is as up-to-date as can be, same with my OS, my soundcard is up to date and so is Guitar Rig. I also just updated my graphics card but no luck. I've reinstalled Guitar Rig, 3 or 4 times now too and made sure to restart my computer each time.

Seems like a Metal Graphics issue maybe?
The Guitar Rig 7 Demo works for me but upgrading to Guitar Rig 7 is not an option for me since its a paid upgrade. I would just like to continue using the software I bought last summer... I mean you're still selling Guitar Rig 6 with Komplete 14 but its not compatible with the newest macOS versions? weird :D

The situation is the same with me: I bought Guitar Rig Pro 6 in May 2023 (just 8 months ago) and the solution that NI recommends (to "upgrade" - that means to buy to 7.0 software update for 99 EUR!) is not at all acceptible to me. I also want to continue using the 6.0 version that I bought. And I want to upgrade my Mac to Sonoma as it brings other advantages.
@Kaiwan_NI or @Matt_N, @Eddie_NI, what is the situation, will there be a Sonoma compatible Guitar Rig 6? Or a free Sonoma update for GR6?0
