My hard drive was replaced and new Win10 has been installed.

I had Native Access on the previous drive with default settings for vst etc except the content folder which is installed on the external usb drive.

I have downloaded Native Access noe and installed.

The library is there and the whole content can be downloaded and installed again.

I want to avoid it as I have the content already on the usb.

How and is it possible to avoid extra long process with download and install?

I understand that the VST folders are not there anymore so that's why the system cant find the content?

Or do I have to go all the way back again and do it from the beginning?

Please help.

Thanks

I hope that's clear enough to understand.

You can locate the Kontakt libraries rather than downloading them, but only one at a time unfortunately. A lot of the content like the synths and expansions need downloading again.

Also would it be needed anymore?

Not needed no, but if you they're plugged in when you install a lot of the content is pulled off them, depending which version the disk is of course. If I do a complete new install I use my latest disk and it finds a lot of the Kontakt libraries and Maschine expansions on it. If updates are needed it'll install off the disk then download the update. This is on a PC, I tried it on a Mac and it found the installers on the HD but the install failed. Not sure if that's been fixed yet
