    Please try the following:

    Navigate to :

Macintosh HD > Users > *Your User Name* > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Shared

Put the "favorites.db" file to trash

Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:

    then to :

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Service Center

Delete all xml files except the one for Native Access and all non NI products.

    Open Native access.

    And finally to :

Macintosh HD > Users > Shared > put the NI Resource file to trash.

Let me know if that fixed the issue.

@Raphs You're in Logic, right? Is it the same in Maschine in standalone?

Make sure to give full disk access to Mashine and Logic: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

If it's also happening in Maschine in standalone, please try the following:

    Reinitialize the Maschine Database

    1. Go to the following location on your computer:
    2. Macintosh HD > Users > *Your User Name* > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments
    3. Note: The User Library folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden macOS folders.
    4. Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the Maschine 2 folder.
    5. Delete only the Maschine 2 folder found here.
    6. Note: Deleting other NI product folders could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.

    Hey @Jeremy_NI

thank You very much for Your fast answer. I already reinitialized the Maschine Database but still have the same problem in standalone as well as in logic. I have a similar problem in Kontakt 7: the presets are missing and I can't choose sound type or character. Maybe the 2 problems are connected. (The pics show the problem and the 2 NI FOLDERS)

    Thanks for Helping!

Are your libraries installed on an external hard drive? Could you have renamed it, even by accident?

Some libraries are on the internal and some on an external hard drive. I did not rename or change anything.
