how to remove a serial number of product?

Hello, I bought a Kontrol S3 on Amazon this Christmas, but after a couple of weeks of use I have noticed that the faders fail, go down and up suddenly in Traktor Pro 3 when I move them whenever they feel like it! I have no problem returning the product to Amazon but...how do I unlink it from my account? I mean that I registered the serial number to download the trktor pro 3 software and now that I am going to return it, I would like to unlink it...how could I do it?

What Traktor Version? Did it maybe start after updating to the new version.

I updated to version 3.11.0 44 a while ago and I still have the problem, I don't remember which one I had before but I guess it was the previous one...even so I'm sure that something is wrong with the faders and I want to replace it with the same one on Amazon
