Hardreset or Werksreset but how?

Guten Tag zusammen ...

Ich habe das Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S88 Masterkeyboard, nicht das MK2 oder MK3 Modell!

Ich habe das Teil gebraucht gekauft und ich möchte dieses gerne werksreseten. In der Bedienungsanleitung finde ich nichts. Weiß jemand, wie das geht?

I have the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S88 master keyboard, not the MK2 or MK3 model! I bought the part used and I would like to factory reset it. I can't find anything in the operating instructions. Does anyone know how this works?

You do not need to do such thing, as it is just a controller, not a synthesizer (it doesn't have any sounds internally) and whatever change you want to make, you do it through its settings. Either way, there is no "factory reset" option.

What you might need to do, is a firmware upgrade, but only if the firmware of your device is older that those:

Firmware Updater for Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK1 1.1.2 - Windows 26.11.2015 5.4MB

Otherwise, you're good to go :-)

When you click your keyboard's settings, it shows, among others, which firmware version you have. On my MK2 i just click the button "Setup", most probably your MK1 will have some similar button.

Then, if your version is older than 1.1.2, you simply download one of the links i posted and install it, that's all.

In such case, please be sure that you follow instructions exactly! (for example, keyboard must be closed during the process).
