Tranferring to new owner

I sold a maschine studio to another person, released the serial ONLY for the unit and they tried to register but get an error.

The error that the person sent me:

"it says I don’t have the base product.. The suffix "ism" creates division"

I purchased a MK3 and added it to my account and am using the 2.0 software that I originally paid for the upgrade. Could that be causing issues?

How can I resolve this?

The buyer does not register the original serial, they register the Transfer ID you got when you requested the transfer.

You should get the transfer ID via email or can see it here:

Confirm if you really gave the new owner the transfer id and not the original serial.
