I ordered x1 mk3 and xone k2 and I am new into traktor software so can i make the x1 to be an effect unit for deck 1 and 2 ( k2 will be controller with 3 decks ) and the fourth colum will be effect to deck 4
Do you have a question?
Either way, you will have a lot of work ahead of you to map the k2 to your needs (as you are new to mapping). Read the instructions for the k2; there are a few things to look out for. For general mapping info, look here:
You answered me with this link thank you so much
By default, without changing anything the x1 will be an effect unit for deck A and B. (or c and d)
That's actually a cool idea.. 3 channels plus one FX Unit, if you need help with that K2 mapping, let me know.
Yess please if you have any mapping for it please send it as i am very new into traktor and mapping
What should the buttons do on the K2?
Just a Track Deck C transport controls?
Edit: I'll just replicate the X1.
Yes and also 3 headphones cues for deck ABC as i think x1 doesn't have this botton and thank you so much for helping
Cool. I will also add a browser on the bottom encoders.
For the monitor cue, I was thinking top encoders push button and dedicated LED below it.
Do you need Master Clock tempo adjust ad all?
Yes please
Want to add or change something in the layout before it is built? This is what we have so far.
Woww thank you so much dude if you can only add the headphones Cue to the 3 decks will be awesome ( can be the button under the the lows)
Also can the gains be in highs with a button and filter be there without pressing any button ( i use auto gain so will not use it so much to be there)
Alright, this is first version for you to test.
I plan to upload it on DJ TechTools Midimaps section once it is perfect. I already tested and it should work as the following image illustrates - let me know if you find any bugs. Some buttons are still not assigned, more on that in next version.
Best,
That's perfect dude thanks so much for your time and effort when i receive the devices will try it and tell you
You are welcome. The idea is good and worth making a mapping that I know many will want to use with their X1's.
