Can I cross grade from Komplete 8 to Komplete 8 Ultimate?

The seller is selling an upgrade version of Komplete 8 Ultimate if you previously had Komplete 2 to 7.

I want to then upgrade eventually to a more recent version of Ultimate.

No, as 1: I want to go upto v13 as my OS is Mac 10.14 and, 2: I can't afford to buy it at retail prices.

It used to be, that upgrade was valid for previous and current version. So, if it is K8U, K8 should do. Maybe even higher version of Komplete.

But better to ask support as the box states K7 as the highest....
