Hi guys,

Just purchased some new coloured timecode MKII vinyl for my traktor scratch pro 2.

I have new pioneer PLX 1000 turntables and new concorde stylus so signal is clear. The new vinyl are compatible with Traktor Scratch 2.1 as far as I know but when playing the track the platter scope - calibration seems to be a little jerky every few seconds and this is affecting the tracks sound, almost sounds like it's warping out of tune slightly.

Any ideas? Just a note, this isn't happening with my old black MK2 vinyl...

Do I need to upgrade the software perhaps to Pro 3.6.2 ?

Spec : Setup:

Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6

Traktor Scratch Pro 2 (Version 2.11.0 23) With A6 & Traktor Kontrol X1 Controller.

Appreciate your advice.

Can you see anything physical wrong with the record?

Does the old vinyl work with the new record player?

I doubt upgrading will fix this :/

Thanks for your quick response. Nothing wrong with the new vinyl, they're brand new and using them for the first time.

The vinyl is playing as it should but the calibration signal seems to be warping out every now and then slightly making the tune sound out of tune for a few seconds.

But did you test the old vinyl on the new record players?

Yes I bought the turntables brand new a few months ago. The old vinyl are pretty stable on the setup.
